- I am a dedicated volunteer firefighter and have been a part of the department for fifteen years. I began painting after my children had bought me an easel as a christmas present. I had just revieved a heart transplant, and was not able to continue my love for carpentry. I had always enjoyed to draw, so my children thought that I should try to take on painting. I gladly accepted the challenge, and low and behold,I discovered that I actually had an unknown talent. It took a bit of practice to get to where I am today, but I believe I do have a new love for creating nature scenes and am happy to share my new found gift with all of you!
